How to figure out your rate, male.
Monday, August 24th, 2009I found my self comeing up with this to send to someone I’m new to working with. I hate confusion about money. So perhaps this can be my boiler plate mail rate worksheet one day
The usual rate for a male doing a boy girl scene.
hope this rundown will help.
Usual rate when I started in this biz was 300 to 400.
I fell like the usual is now 500.
I find 600 is somewhat common with very solid performers.
I know those who get 700 even 800.
Some who charged 500 I notice over time should charge 600 so I tell them to do so.I like to always pay your rate. But you can price your self out.
I don’t make movies with my money and at the end of the day I don’t own them.
We need to get paid today for are work.This is how the biz was explained to me buy those who came before me.

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009It seems the trooth has a way of just coming out.
Some times when it does you relize the lie was the realaty.
When I started in 2004 I was told to make sure to only do things I could stand behind. I’m glad I took that advice or I would be total loss at this point.
The positive and supportive relationship I enjoyed with my family is gone. Only to reveal the trooth about what thay though. Nice guys Finnish last and honestly is not the best polosey. But there is a releff in not haveing to live for ohters.
I now know what most feel in this biz I’m afrade.

Monday, February 9th, 2009often I hate being the one who shooses who gets to make a vivid-alt moive. But sometimes when some one has publicly spoken negatively about me or even to my face. I fell like it’s a given that I’m not going to give them work aney more or ever for that mater. I’m always spooked when these people still hit me up. So do these people forget what thay said or do that think I forgot or did not notice. But even when this come up. I feel bad about it… but not after this post. aaaaa the power of my new katharick blog… O joy
